The Forming of LA Floors, Inc.
LA Floors, Inc was established in response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. During the surge, medical centers faced critical staffing issues, which also affected ancillary departments such as Environmental Services (EVS). These departments struggled to maintain staffing in essential patient care areas, leading to non-medically essential services being overlooked. Consequently, floor techs were reassigned as housekeepers, resulting in inadequate floor maintenance and care, with the floors not being serviced regularly.
Even now, the healthcare industry continues to grapple with staffing shortages across all departments. LA Floors rose to the occasion, providing much-needed solutions to our healthcare partners.
